Hey there Macaron

Love & Macarons Are All You Need

Macarons are a French pastry. They are anatomically like a mini sandwich in the sense that there is a filling between two pieces of “crust”.

The crust appear to be composed of thin slices of cakey material coated with a smooth, crisp meringue material. Of course, the famous ruffled edges of the outer crust are present. The filling inside appears to be jams and jellies of various colours and flavours, depending on the particular macaron you happen to possess.

My wording above is rather vague and unsure. This is because my knowledge of Macarons only come from my experience of eating them. The picture above was taken at Baked Fusion located opposition ktc bus stand Margao-Goa.

Macarons are all hype. They probably capture your interest due to how scrumptious and cute they look (all sorts of colours and flavours). Now for the good part where I tell you how delicious they are and how you absolutely must try them.

Place

Baked fusion is a Goan Bakery outlet which serves hot baked snacks and sweet desserts. It started with a small bakery in Navelim-Goa than introduced some more outlets around Margao it is still a growing enterprise with delicious delicacies.

Packing

The packaging depends on the quantity bought by one it’s very simple and nothing special, Macarons are packaged in a box not individually so there’s a risk of them getting crush within the box. There are different flavours and colours available in triplets.

Taste

Full disclosure, I usually don’t like Macarons. I generally find Macarons to be too sweet and I’m not a fan of the outer texture. They taste the same just like the other outlets, too little natural taste but they look cute and that’s a fact.
